The instrument is a medical measuring instrument and is designed to determine the concentration of substances in transparent solutions by measured value of optical density in standard quartz and glass cuvettes (plastic cuvettes and cylindrical tubes are also allowed) with optical path length of 10 or 5 mm for biochemical analyses by kinetic method and end point. Monochromatic or bichromatic determination of the analysis is possible. The instrument is available in versions with built-in printer and without built-in printer.
The instrument has a possibility to output measurement results and service information to the external "Printing device for analysers with optical communication channel for information transfer UP-02-"NPP-TM". It is also possible to transfer data via an adapter for personal computer (PC) to PC through the built-in optical infrared communication channel. .
