Angular Velocity Sensor for Railway Systems - DС24-2-2M Application

The wheel pair angular speed sensor DS24-2-2M is designed for rail rolling stock of railways and subways. The sensor is installed in the cover of axleboxes of all wheel pairs of the car. The microelectronic part, operating on the principle of Hall effect, forms packs of pulses, the period of repetition of which is proportional to the rotor rotation speed. Formed packs are filled with a frequency of 20kHz. The information is fed to the skid and slip protection system.
