ARO-12 Hand Holder Apparatus for Corrective Upper Limb Support

The keystone apparatus is designed for the correction, fixation and support of the upper limb. It consists of a wrist sleeve with thumb fixation and a forearm sleeve connected with each other by hinges providing movement in the wrist joint in the sagittal plane. The design ensures that the wrist joint is held in a functionally favourable position and eliminates rotational movements.

It is made by vacuum moulding method according to an individual plaster cast from thermoplastic materials, as well as by lamination of carbon and textile materials with resin. The sleeve is decorated with thermal paper. The softening inlay is made of foam material and is sanitised.

The fastener is made in the form of a textile clasp providing an adjustable degree of fixation of the upper limb segments. Each fastener consists of two parts, one of which has hooks and the other has loops.
