Automated Gas Pumping Unit GPA-4RM for Efficient Gas Transfer

GPA-4RM is an automated gas pumping unit of block-container or hangar version with nominal capacity of 4 MW, operating in the mode of "unmanned" technology. The unit is designed for gas injection at underground gas storage stations (UGS) and gas transportation through trunk pipelines. The unit has high technical and economic characteristics, which makes it possible to maintain a high technical level of gas transmission capacities.

It is possible to install the unit on the existing foundation in the existing shop. The unit is designed in accordance with the latest requirements and fully complies with the technical and operational requirements of the gas industry, and has an advanced remote control system with a high degree of protection. The unit is driven by GTD-4RM gas turbine engine (ODK-Saturn PJSC, Rybinsk) with a capacity of 4 MW, developed on the basis of M-75R gas turbine engine for marine use.

The unit is designed to use a centrifugal compressor with dry seals or a reciprocating compressor (GPA-4RMP). In 2007 the GPA-4RM gas pumping unit became the winner of the state programme "Russian Quality". In 2012, this unit was recognised as the winner of the "100 Best Goods of Russia" competition.
