Auxiliary Asynchronous Motor DVA-25 for Cooling Fan Applications

Auxiliary asynchronous motor ???-25 is designed for driving centrifugal fans of cooling equipment of the mainline freight DC electric locomotive 2(3)ES4K. Electric motor DVA-25 is a reversible, three-phase asynchronous electric machine of four-pole design with squirrel cage rotor. The motor is made with one output shaft end, horizontal installation, with self-ventilation.

The stator bed is welded steel. The wrapped stator core is impregnated in compound by vacuum-injection method. The rotor winding is made of copper rectangular rods connected at the ends with short-circuit rings by refractory solder.

The electric motor complies with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union TR TS 001/2011.
