Description

The optical cable contains a core in the form of a central tube, inside which up to 48 single-mode or multimode optical fibres are located. The inner space of the tube is filled with hydrophobic compound or other water-blocking material along its entire length. The core is covered with a web of glass fibres. Upon agreement with the customer, an intermediate sheath can be applied to the cable core, covered with special glass tape or glass fibres, providing the necessary protection against rodents. On top of the core or filament or intermediate sheath there is a polymer sheath made of polyethylene or polymer compound that does not propagate combustion in single or group laying
