Complex air purifying device (CWPD) is designed for preparation of atmospheric air before entering the compressor of a gas turbine unit (GTU) and provides: purification of atmospheric air entering the GTU axial compressor up to the required characteristics; air heating in case of icing threat; heating of cyclic air at the CWPU inlet at low negative outdoor air temperatures; reduction of sound (noise) level spreading from GTU compressor to the environment to sanitary norms; blocking of air intake path to prevent accelerated GTU cooling during shutdowns; prevention of foreign objects and atmospheric precipitations getting into air intake path.
