BU-3PA is designed to collect information from the locomotive sensors and automatic locomotive signalling system, to convert the repetition rate of electrical impulses on two measurement channels to the values of speed, acceleration, to convert the number of impulses to the values of the travelled distance, to measure the pressure in the brake line (on the first channel), to provide the results obtained for indication, registration, signalling, as well as their recording in a semiconductor non-volatile memory device.
