DAS2-ng(A)-HF Optical Cable for High-Speed Data Transmission and Flexibility

The cable contains a core of modular construction with a central power element made of dielectric rod, around which optical modules with freely laid fibres are twisted. The free space in the optical modules and in the cable core is filled with hydrophobic gel. The core is covered with an aluminopolymer tape and an intermediate sheath made of polyethylene.

Two layers of armour made of steel rope wires are spirally applied on the intermediate sheath. The free space between the wires is filled with hydrophobic gel. The armour is overlaid with a sheath made of a polymer composition that does not propagate combustion and does not contain halogens with low smoke emission.
