Desalination System for Shipboard Use AKVAVIT MV2.3 - Purifying Seawater

Water treatment system, desalination unit shipboard brand "AQUAVIT" MV2.3 is designed for desalination of sea water for preparation of water of drinking quality in ship conditions from sea water, as well as from the water of other surface water supply sources (river, lake). The desalination plant is a complex high-pressure system, which filters seawater by means of a reverse osmosis module (RO-module), dividing it into two streams: a stream of desalinated water (permeate), fed into a storage tank, and a concentrated salt solution (concentrate), which is discharged to the drain. The reverse osmosis module is a semi-permeable membrane installed in a hermetically sealed enclosure that allows water molecules to pass through and does not allow mechanical particles, molecules and ions of other dissolved components, bacteria and viruses to pass through.
