DPT-E Suspension Cable for Power Transmission and Communication Applications

The free space in the optical modules and in the cable core is filled with hydrophobic gel. An intermediate sheath made of polyethylene is overlaid on the core. Aramid filaments are spirally applied on the intermediate sheath.

A sheath of tracking-resistant polyethylene is placed on top of the filaments. Fully dielectric; UV resistant.
