Dry Smoothing Reactor RSS-280-0.017 U1 for Rectifier Current Smoothing

The dry smoothing reactor RCC-280-0,017 U1 6BS.172.478 is included at the output of the rectifier-inverter converter VIP-1000 and is intended for smoothing the rectified current of the converter, i.e. its functional purpose is an inductance coil (choke) intended for inclusion in series in the DC circuit in order to reduce current ripples, an element of the so-called LC-filter. This reactor is not designed to limit the short-circuit surge current, so it cannot be classified as a current-limiting reactor that ensures the stability of generators in power systems.
