Description
Electrically driven centrifugal tank pump of submersible type. ESP is a part of the fuel system of a gas turbine engine (e.g. aircraft).
The pump is an electrically driven, controlled, single-stage centrifugal in-tank pump.
The ESP is designed to supply fuel from tanks to engines at start-up. The ESP is also switched on when the fuel inlet pressure drops below the preset value.
The ESP is designed in a single housing with an electronic control system, which is cooled directly by the pumped fuel. A modification of the ESP has been developed, the control unit of which is manufactured using only Russian-made ECIs.
