Elliptical Nozzle for Flow Measurement, DN 0-630; PN 0-50 MPa

Nozzle is a type of standard narrowing device (SD) made in the form of a body of rotation resembling a funnel. The purpose of the nozzle is to measure the flow rate of the medium by the method of variable pressure drop. The method of measuring the flow rate of medium flowing in the measuring pipeline (IT) is based on the creation of a local flow contraction by means of a nozzle, part of the potential energy of which is converted into kinetic energy.

The pressure difference (pressure drop) is greater the greater the flow rate of the medium and, therefore, it can serve as a measure of flow rate. Nozzle profile meets the requirements of clause 5.2.2 and clause 5.2.3 of GOST 8.586.3- 2005.
