Description
A fire tanker AC-6,0-40(43118) is designed for fire extinguishing in settlements and industrial facilities and serves for:
- Delivery to the place of call of the combat crew, fire-technical armament (FTA) and stock of fire extinguishing agents;
- Providing water and foam supply (compact and atomising jets) by firefighting and hand trunks, as well as medium foam generators;
- Carrying out rescue and reconnaissance work related to fire.
The tanker truck can be used as an independent fighting unit or as a pumping unit when working "in pumping" with one or several other tanker trucks. When working on a fire, the tanker truck may draw water from the water supply network or a reservoir, and foam blowing agent from its own tank or an external tank.
