Reducer ZhDR-0002 is designed for locomotive traction passenger cars with a design speed of up to 160 km/h, operated on railways of 1520 mm gauge, manufactured in accordance with technical specifications ZhDRU.303144.001.TU and used for power take-off from the middle part of the axle of the wheel pair through bevel gears, cardan shaft and elastic clutch on the shaft of the generator armature.
