Description

Designed for cultivation of heavily overgrown areas, for development of virgin and fallow lands, for soil cultivation with large amounts of plant and crop residues, including shrubbery. It can be used in all soil and climatic zones. BDT "Vepr" is a semi-trailed disc harrow with V-shaped arrangement of toothed cut discs assembled in batteries, which are able to cultivate the soil to a depth of up to 25 cm, which can be rather referred to the functions of a plough. But the basic difference here is that the plough wraps the soil layers, while the harrow discs ensure uniform mixing of the cultivated soil horizon over the entire working depth. The unique shape of the heavy harrow discs allows them to enter the uncultivated stratum quite easily and produce a good crushing of crop residues with subsequent uniform embedding of them in the soil to the full depth.
