High-Pressure Piston Air Compressor 2ВМ2,5-4/10С for Industrial Applications

Piston air compressor 2VM2,5-4/10C on the opposition base 2M2,5 is used in industry, manufacturing, medicine and pharmaceuticals, other industries as a source of compressed air of high purity. The complete compressor unit consists of a compressor, refrigerators (gas coolers), gas pipework, cooling and automation systems. The compressor is a piston crosshead machine with horizontal (opposition) arrangement of cylinders.

The compressor design is based on the normal range of machines adopted at Krasnodar Compressor Plant. For separation of liquid and oil particles there are cavities in coolers or moisture and oil separators, from where condensate and oil are removed by periodic blowing. The compressor is usually driven by an inboard electric motor, the stator of the electric motor is attached to the frame lantern and the rotor is mounted on the compressor crankshaft shank.

A significant number of assemblies and parts are unitised and interchangeable.
