The vessel is designed for passenger transportations on inland waterways on lines up to 650 km long. The navigation area - inland water basins of category "O", south of latitude 66° 30 min. The vessel can be operated for its intended purpose during daylight hours, at ambient air temperature from -5°C to +34°C with relative air humidity up to 70%, on clear water during the ice-free navigation period.
The presence of two redans and automatically controlled interceptors allows increasing the hydrodynamic quality of the vessel by 20-25% in comparison with traditional gliding type vessels both when travelling in calm water and in wave conditions. Besides, the vertical overloads arising at movement in conditions of excitement, the vessel of the project A45 is also lower in 1,5 times in comparison with traditional vessels of gliding type that favourably affects the conditions of habitability of passengers and crew.
