Description

A sterile implantable artificial hip replacement for a hip joint damaged by disease (e.g. arthritis) or trauma, consisting of corresponding femoral and acetabular components with a metal-polyethylene (or cross-linked polyethylene) articular friction pair. Implantation may be performed with or without the use of bone cement.
