KM42 Signal Transmission Cross-Module for Efficient Signal Transfer

The KM42 carrier module is designed to transmit user-defined signals (abbreviation - u.d.) on the VME64x bus from the slot where the K42V(W) processor module is installed to the neighbouring cross-board slots in which the M114 and KTM42 interface expansion modules are installed. The KM42 module must be installed on the rear side of the VME64x cross-board in the P0 and P2 slots. The module shall be used in devices in conjunction with the K42V(W), M114 and KTM42 modules.

The module shall function in a VME64x system bus crate in conjunction with the K42V(W) processor module and the M114 and KTM42 interface modules. The module provides the following basic specifications: <ul> <li>- Number of backplane slots: 2, 3, or 4;</li> <li>Switching of high-speed serial signals</li> </ul>for interfaces: PCIE, SATA, 1Gb Ethernet, USB2.0; <ul> <li>- Switching of graphic interface signals: DVI, VGA.</li> </ul>.
