Laboratory Setup for Testing Various Heat Exchanger Designs: Shell-and-Tube and Plate (TOT-TPB-K)

Study of design and principles of operation of heat-exchange apparatuses of different types: plate and shell-and-tube. List of works to be carried out on the training stand:
- Conducting tests of heat exchangers in direct and counterflow modes
- Measurement of flow rates and temperatures at the inlet and outlet of hot and cold heat-carriers
- Determination of heat transfer coefficients in recuperative heat exchangers under direct and countercurrent flow schemes of the coolant flow
- Experimental study of shell-and-tube and plate heat exchangers with determination of their heat load.
- Investigation of the influence of thermophysical properties of the cooling medium on the heat exchange processes
