MMT 2000/2330/750K Hammer Mill for Efficient Coal Processing

The tangential hammer mill MMT2000/2330/750K is designed for grinding and drying of hard coal as a part of dust preparation system. Depending on the direction of rotation of the rotor, the mills can be manufactured in right and left-handed version. The material and the drying agent are fed tangentially into the working zone of the mill through the flow path.

The material is ground by repeated blows with articulated beads. The flow of drying agent carries the ground material out of the grinding zone to the separator, where large fractions are separated, which are returned to the working zone of the mill for additional grinding. The mill is driven by an electric motor through an elastic coupling.

There are hatches in the lower part of the housing for collection and subsequent removal of rock pieces, metal, etc. from the mill. Normal operation of the mill is ensured only when the material with the size of pieces not more than 50 mm, cleaned from chips, solid inclusions, is received for grinding.
