Description
A monopolar metal tip that is attached to an electrosurgical diathermy handle and creates contact with a patient in order to provide an electrical connection between the output terminals of the electrosurgical diathermy generator and the patient. The radiated energy is used to transfer heat to the tissue for the purpose of cutting and coagulation during surgery. This non-specialised device is designed to be used in a variety of clinical applications and requires a return electrode to loop the circuit. It is a reusable product that must be sterilised before use.
