Description
Multiaxial fabric is a woven textile material made of several layers of glass roving strands stacked on top of each other and sewn with polyester threads. Multiaxial fabrics are used in the manufacture of composite products, including those with complex construction, due to the variable angle of fibre direction in the fabric layers (0° and 90°, or +45° and -45°, etc.), multilayer structure (1, 2, 3, 4 layers of roving strands). Unlike classical roving glass fabrics, multiaxial glass fabrics allow the manufacture of glass composite products with increased strength, lower weight and lower resin consumption.
