NTSS-FOAMGU Fiber Optic Cable Assembly for Telecommunications Networks

Cable assembly NTSS-FOAMGU is designed for application on the unified telecommunication network of the Russian Federation in fibre-optic transmission systems as a passive optical device. It is used for connection of line and station optical cables, interconnection between racks, switching, switching and measuring. It represents a section of optical cable, divided into optical fibres from both sides, with a heat-shrinkable tube applied to the place of division.

The junction of the heat shrinkable tube to the outer sheath of the cable is protected by a sleeve. Each optical fibre is reinforced on both sides with polished optical plugs. The structure is reinforced with polyester or aramid yarns.

The cable outer jacket is made of flame retardant low smoke halogen free compound (LSZH).
