Obstetric Examination Modules, Model 9A - Training for Labor and Delivery

The simulator consists of 6 modules that represent the changes in the shape of the cervix during labour. It is made of polyvinyl chloride by pouring it into a mould. It is possible to teach the technique of vaginal examination and to observe the changes of the cervix. The modules represent the different phases of cervical opening: opening at 2 cm, 4 cm, 5 cm, 7 cm, 10 cm.
