Outdoor Single-Phase Switch 27.5 kV VR27NT Series for Reliable Circuit Switching

BP27NT series switches (outdoor installation) with spring drive are designed for switching single-phase electrical circuits with a rated voltage of 27.5 kV and AC frequency 50(60) Hz, as well as for automatic disconnection of these circuits at short circuits and overloads. Switches ??27?? are designed to complete feeder blocks of AC traction substations, sectionalisation posts and points of parallel connection of the contact network of railway sections.

The switches are also used for expansion of existing substations and replacement of obsolete oil, air and vacuum circuit breakers. Multifunctionality of the spring drive and simplicity of its design allowed to ensure high reliability and a significant lifetime of the switch.
