Piston horizontal crosshead compressor of opposition type, in two-stage version 2VM2,5-12/9 is designed to meet the needs of enterprises that do not require high purity of compressed air. The compressor unit acts as a constant and reliable source of energy. The 2VM2,5-12/9 is driven by an asynchronous electric motor mounted in the frame.

The compressor is equipped with a water cooling mechanism and a lubrication system. On request, the compressor can be made explosion-proof and can be used with explosive media. The compressor is equipped with stage discharge pressure protection, stage discharge gas temperature protection, oil pressure protection, coolant flow sensors, inlet water temperature sensors and other automatic compressor protection mechanisms as required.

The compressor can be executed without lubrication of cylinders and oil seals (dry).
