R50 Tram Switch with Flexible Points - Ideal for Track Switching

Tramway arrow R50 with flexible shackles (project 8404.01.000) is designed to transfer trams from one track to another. It consists of an outer and inner body with sharps (feathers). The bodies are made in the form of castings from high-manganese steel with welded rail ends and are fixed on carriages.

Rotating shackles (feathers) are made of wear-resistant rolled steel. The arrow can be equipped with a system of electric heating of sharps (feathers). The arrow is operated outdoors in macroclimatic regions of temperate and cold climate as a product UHL1 according to GOST 15150-69.

The arrow is designed to pass the rolling stock with wheel bands in accordance with GOST 25712-88.
