Rail-mounted Wheel Lathe PR1400 for Precision Wheel Processing

The machine is designed for turning of wheel pairs on rolling diameter without rolling out from under locomotives, electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, motor-car sections and wagons. Single wheelsets can also be machined on the machine. The machine is positioned as an alternative to wheel milling machine KZH-20 and a replacement of obsolete A41.

As well as all other modifications of under-rail version. The machine is installed below the rail level. Ball screws and hardened sliding guides are used to move the slides, which ensures high durability.

The machine is equipped with special devices for defecting and measuring the wheelset before machining and control after machining.
