Reciprocating Gas Compressor 2ГМ4-48/3 for Industrial Applications

Piston gas crosshead compressor 2GM4-48/3 on the opposition base M4 is used in industry, oil and gas, chemical, food and other industries for compression and movement of a variety of gases. The complete compressor unit consists of a compressor, refrigerators (gas coolers), gas pipework, cooling and automation systems. The compressor is a piston crosshead machine with oppositely arranged cylinders.

The compressor design is based on the normal range of machines adopted at Krasnodar Compressor Plant. For separation of liquid and oil particles there are cavities in coolers or moisture and oil separators, from where condensate and oil are removed by periodic blowing. The compressor is driven by an in-built electric motor, the motor stator is attached to the frame lantern and the rotor is mounted on the compressor crankshaft shank.

A significant number of assemblies and parts are unitised and interchangeable.
