Reversible Heat Pump Laboratory Installation (TOT-RTN) for Energy Efficiency Studies

The facility is designed for studying, testing and carrying out laboratory works on energy-saving technologies used in heat supply of buildings and structures with the use of heat pump. The list of works to be carried out on the training stand: <ul> <li>- Studying the peculiarities of the device and principle of operation of the refrigeration unit.</li> <li>Study of the device and principle of operation of a heat pump.</li> <li>Determination of heat pump efficiency.</li> <li>Comparison of the heating system with an electric boiler and with a heat pump.</li> <li>Determination of thermal capacity of the heat pump.</li> <li>Investigation of heat pump efficiency at different given hot water temperatures.</li> <li>Investigation of heat pump efficiency at different ambient temperatures</li> </ul>.
