RS-232 Transceiver IC K5559IN4U for Reliable Data Transmission

The RS-232 transceiver IC contains 5 CMOS to RS-232 transmitters and three RS-232 to CMOS receivers (one active in all modes), and an internal pulse voltage converter with external capacitors. The circuit requires 4 external capacitors to operate. A special feature of the circuit is the presence of the "Off" mode, in which all receivers remain active. In this mode the current consumption is not more than 10 µA. Applications: laptops, PDAs, high-speed modems, battery-powered equipment, portable equipment, peripherals, printers.
