Four-row disc harrows are used for basic tillage to a depth of up to 15 cm on fields with large amounts of crop residues, cultivation of fallow land (virgin land), fallow land cultivation, field preparation for fallow or sowing, fertiliser incorporation into the soil, as well as deep tillage with partial turnover of the layer. Disc harrows are designed for operation in all agro-climatic zones, on all types of soils, including those subject to wind and water erosion, except for stony soils, with a field surface slope of no more than 8?, soil hardness in the cultivated layer of no more than 1.2 MPa, soil moisture from 12 to 25%, with the height of plant and crop residues of no more than 25 cm.
