BIN C is designed to solve the following tasks:
- interrogation of up to six indicators of presence of chips in oil, included in the lubrication system of a gas turbine engine;
- signalling to the local control system;
- ensuring explosion protection of input circuits of "intrinsically safe circuit" type 1ExiaIIA.
