Security Detector "KUPOL-20V" for Protecting Open Areas

The detector is designed to protect open areas enclosed by metal (mesh) or reinforced concrete fencing. The objects can be crane sites of oil and gas industry, sites of TV towers, etc.

The principle of operation is based on the creation of an invisible volumetric detection zone between the receiver and transmitter, the boundaries of which are determined by the size of the fenced area. When an intruder enters this zone, the detector registers its change and generates an alarm signal.

General information The detector consists of PRD and PRM units located in the hazardous area, as well as the control unit (CU) located outside the hazardous area. The detector forms a volumetric detection zone that fills the entire enclosed area, but does not extend beyond it. Inside the site it is allowed to have stationary metal structures occupying no more than 10% of the volume, located no closer than 1.5 m from the antennas of the PRD and PRM units.
