Sound programmable beacon-informer for blind people "Istok-Inva" is designed to facilitate orientation of visually impaired and blind people in space. It is installed above the entrance group of pavilions under street crossings and lobbies of metro and MCC stations.
The device plays back a sound file from the internal memory using a speaker. The playback volume is automatically adjusted depending on the ambient noise, the level of which is assessed by the device using the built-in microphone. The sound file in the internal memory can be changed by copying a new file from a USB memory stick.
