Space Environment Simulation Complex "Terra" SXE-TERRA-02 for Educational Satellite Experiments

Artikal: SXE-TERRA-02. The complex is designed for conducting experiments with satellite models assembled from OrbiCraft 3D and OrbiX constructors. In your classroom you can create conditions of satellite flight in space, simulating its rotation in low-Earth orbit, the effect of magnetic field and illumination by the Sun!

A large colourful globe of the Earth with a rotation mechanism, which is controlled from a PC via the special Terra Ground Control software. On the surface of the globe are special sensors - "ground communication stations", as well as LEDs that resemble the glowing dots of cities visible from a satellite on the shadow side of the orbit. The magnetic frame creates a uniaxial controlled magnetic field.

Thanks to this field, the satellite can understand its position by checking with data from a sensor, the magnetometer. A spotlight, which can be used to create different scenarios of illumination of the satellite and the Earth's surface, to study orientation algorithms based on solar sensors.
