Wheel lathe VK-KP-BS-01.01

1.Scope of the product. Wheel lathe mod. VK-KP-BS-01 is a special lathe designed for restoration of wheel profiles of freight and passenger cars, electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, metro cars with rolling out from under the rolling stock.

2.General requirements for products. Machine installation should provide easy access and maintenance. For this purpose, the machine should be installed near the crane and provide, if possible, ways for the input and output of the processed wheelsets.

The double-joint machining and automatic profile measurement ensure highly productive wheel turning with great precision. The universal tooling and the wide range of machine programme options allow easy changeover to turning of different wheel profiles without changing the machine tooling. The wheelset is mounted on the machine by the standard lifting mechanisms of the wheel and roller shop.
