Description
A sterile implantable main component of a total hip prosthesis (acetabular component) for acetabular replacement or reconstruction. The component is a one-piece structure made entirely of polyethylene (polyethylene cap); may include fixation devices (e.g., screws) for attachment to the body. The presence of an anti-luxation element to minimise the risk of dislocation of the endoprosthetic head at small diameters.
