Topaz REP Interface Repeaters for Effective RS-485 Signal Conversion

The TOPAZ REP interface repeaters are produced according to technical specifications TU 4230-003-89466010-2012. Interface repeaters are designed to convert electrical signals of RS-485 (RS-422) interfaces into signals for fibre-optic communication line. Repeaters are used to increase the communication distance between devices (up to 40 km when using single-pod optical fibre).

The devices support point-to-point, ring topology. The devices provide galvanic isolation between different network segments. Repeaters are used when the length of communication between devices is more than 1.2 km or the number of connected devices in the network is more than 32.
