Description
"Lifting beams are necessary to distribute the load evenly between all load anchorages, they protect the lifted load from compressive forces and ensure its safety when moving.
The traverse beam is a beam structure made of channels reinforced with sheet metal plates. The upper beam is equipped with a hook suspension, the lower beam has suspensions for slings and load-carrying equipment. The crossbeam is attached to the hoisting equipment by means of an eyelet brace or suspension.
As the crosshead is attached directly to the crane's working body, it allows to use the full useful height when lifting the load, but it is necessary to centre the load in order to avoid overweighting of the load on one of the sides when lifting.".
