U-FLEX Series UWE - Flexible Seismic Joint for Fire and Water Systems

The U-Flex expansion joint of the hortum brand is a stainless braided bellows compensator. Scope of application: dilatation transitions in fire-fighting and water supply systems, tunnels, highways, residential buildings, administrative and industrial premises, as well as pipelines located in areas with seismic activity up to 9 points.Purpose of application of seismic compensators: compensation of axial, shear and angular displacements of the pipeline arising from temperature changes in its length, seismic activity or shrinkage of the foundation of buildings; removal of vibration loads, sealing of pipelines; prevention of destruction of the pipelines, sealing of the pipelines, sealing of the pipelines.
