Underground Communication Insulation Damage Locator IPI-2000K for Detecting Defects

The detector IPI 2000 is designed for finding through defects in the insulation coating of trunk pipelines and other underground utilities by contact method without opening the ground.

The detector allows non-contact detection of the location and depth of hidden and underground communications made of electrically conductive materials.

Trace location search and insulation inspection are possible either by signal from a special search generator or by using cathodic protection current.

The seeker allows you to tune to a signal of arbitrary frequency in the range from 250 to 1990 Hz and can work with virtually any search generator operating in this range.

The results of the insulation survey are stored in the non-volatile memory of the device.

The detector is designed for operation outdoors at temperatures from -10 to +50oC and relative humidity of 90% (at 25oC).
