Description

Four-axle universal gondola car with end walls and hatches in the floor model 12-196-04 is designed for carriage by railways of 1520 mm gauge of mass non-aggressive cargoes that do not require protection from atmospheric precipitation: bulk non-dusty, bulk, stacked and piece goods.

The gondola is made in UHL category 1 according to GOST 15150 to ensure operational reliability at the lower operating and limit temperature values of minus 60 °?.

Gondola car model 12-196-04 is a modification of gondola car model 12-196-02 produced by JSC "Research and Production Corporation "Uralvagonzavod".

The essence of the modification is to modify the body of the gondola for rolling under it cargo stamped-welded bogies model 18-9999..
