Universal scanner PAPILON BS creates accurate digital copies of surfaces for all types of objects in the database of the database ABIS "Arsenal" - bullets and casings from rifled and smooth-bore weapons, shot, buckshot, deformed bullets and fragments of destroyed shells with relief distortion up to 7 mm.

Due to the versatility of the device, there is no division of input stations by the type of objects to be input. One workstation equipped with the Papilon BS scanner can input images of any database objects - bullets, casings, shells and fragments - and in any sequence.

Another aspect of the device versatility is its ability to work not only as part of stationary ABIS complexes, but also in "field" conditions. The small size and transportability of PAPILON BS made it possible to create a mobile ABIS complex "Arsenal" with a local database and full functionality of a stationary complex.
