Veterinary Surgical Skills Training Simulator for Practicing Procedures

The simulator is a working surface (submaketnik) with blocks, which provide an opportunity to train basic veterinary-surgical skills. The blocks contain various replaceable elements. The design of the simulator is desktop. A separate block for placing surgical instruments, which is included in the set of the simulator, can be provided on the sub-maketnik. It has a variable execution depending on the skills to be practised: <ul> <li>- tying knots;</li> <li>making incisions;</li> <li>surgical suturing: skin suture; suture on the intestine; suture on the abdominal cavity wall;</li> <li>surgical treatment of a traumatic wound;</li> <li>intravenous procedures: intravenous infusion, blood collection.</li> </ul>Imitation of soft tissues (if available) - execution from elastic materials.
