VÖKKER UDC-Z-100 ADVERTISEMENT: VÖKKER UDC - equipment designation; Z - closed type; 100 - volumetric water flow rate, m3/hour; Modern UV disinfection equipment is a stainless steel reaction chamber with UV lamps inside, thermally protected from contact with water by transparent quartz covers. Water passing through the disinfection chamber is continuously exposed to UV radiation, which kills all microorganisms in it. UV radiation destroys DNA molecules in the cells of bacteria and microorganisms. UVO is the final link in the purification of incoming water
