Warm Asphalt Mix Additive Azol 1007 for Enhanced Adhesion

Additive for preparation of warm asphalt concrete mixtures Azol 1007 is used to improve adhesion of bituminous and polymer-bitumen binders to the mineral part and reduce the temperature of preparation and laying of asphalt concrete mixtures in road construction. It increases water resistance of asphalt concrete, slows down aging of binder and allows to reduce the temperature of preparation and laying of mixtures by 20-30°C without worsening the properties of road surface. Azol 1007 additive is a surfactant of ampholytic type and a complex of special natural plasticising additives.

It improves adhesion of binder to both acidic and basic materials in asphalt concrete mixture. Thanks to the liquid form Azol 1007 is easy to use and can be automatically dosed into bitumen. Azol 1007 belongs to low-hazardous substances (hazard class 4).
